Gemini Watermark Remover Guide

Detect and remove the visible Gemini watermark from images using reverse alpha blending, entirely in the browser.

Focus
Image processing runs locally without uploading the image
Best For
Supported current and legacy visible profiles are detected
Tip
Reconstruction uses reverse alpha blending math

Recommended workflow

Drop an image, let the tool detect the watermark, review the before/after preview, then download the cleaned result.

  • Use the original exported image for the best reconstruction
  • Wait for the Detecting and Removing stages to finish
  • Compare the Before and After previews before downloading

How detection works

The tool scans the expected watermark corners with a three-stage normalized cross-correlation: spatial match, gradient match, and statistical variance.

  • Spatial correlation compares the region to the expected logo shape
  • Gradient correlation matches edge structure
  • Variance analysis confirms the region differs from its surroundings

How removal works

The watermark is a semi-transparent white overlay. Reverse alpha blending reconstructs the covered pixels from the surrounding image data.

  • Watermarked = alpha × logo + (1 − alpha) × original
  • The tool inverts this to recover the original pixels
  • Pixels below the alpha noise floor are left untouched
