Arrange your PDF files before merging
The merged PDF follows your document order from first to last. Put the cover, main document, appendices, certificates, or supporting files in their final reading sequence before you press Merge.
Combine complete PDF documents in your chosen order.
Merge PDF is a free online PDF merger for combining multiple PDF files into one document. Instead of sending several separate files, you can upload your PDFs, arrange them in the order you want, and create one merged PDF that is easier to store, share, print, or submit.
The tool is designed for whole-document PDF merging. Each uploaded PDF stays together as a complete unit and is appended according to the order shown in the workspace. This makes it useful for combining reports with appendices, contracts with exhibits, scanned documents, invoices, assignments, certificates, and other document bundles. If you need to reorder or edit individual pages, use Organize PDF Pages instead.
You can merge between two and 20 PDF files in one request. Each file may be up to 50 MiB, while the combined size of all PDFs cannot exceed 100 MiB. These limits are checked before processing to prevent unsupported merge jobs.
The merger preserves visible page content including text, images, vectors, fonts, dimensions, existing rotation, hyperlinks, and supported text annotations. Document-level features such as bookmarks, interactive forms, embedded attachments, and original metadata are not preserved. Editing or merging a digitally signed PDF can also remove or invalidate its existing signature.
Merge PDF works through your browser without requiring dedicated PDF merge software. The actual merge is processed server-side. Files are temporarily retained only as needed to process your request and provide the result. Some tools may retain files for up to 24 hours until the next scheduled cleanup.

This tool appends whole PDF files. If you need to move individual pages between documents, rotate pages, remove pages, or build a custom page sequence, use Organize PDF Pages instead.
You can add up to 20 PDFs, with a maximum of 50 MiB for each file and 100 MiB across the complete merge request.
Merging changes the PDF document structure and can invalidate an existing digital signature. Preserve the signed originals whenever signature verification matters.
Descriptive filenames such as 01-cover, 02-report, and 03-appendix make it easier to confirm the final order when merging several documents.
Merging combines existing documents but is not intended to significantly reduce their total file size. If the final PDF is too large for email or an upload portal, run it through PDF Compressor afterward.

The merger preserves the existing visible page content rather than rasterizing every page into a new image. Images, vectors, fonts, page dimensions, source rotation, hyperlinks, and supported text annotations remain part of the merged document.
Visible page content, hyperlinks, and supported text annotations are preserved, but bookmarks, interactive forms, embedded attachments, and document metadata are not preserved by the current merge workflow.
You can process supported PDFs that contain signed content, but editing or reconstructing a PDF can remove or invalidate an existing digital signature. Keep the original signed documents if signature validity matters.
