Image Converter Guide

Choose the right target format for your destination and use quality presets or slider controls to balance size and fidelity across single images or batches.

Focus
Convert single images or batches up to 50 files to a shared format
Best For
WebP is usually the best default for web delivery; PNG preserves transparency
Tip
Use 4 quality presets (90%, 80%, 60%, 40%) or fine-tune with the slider

Format selection

Pick the output format based on whether you need transparency, compression, legacy compatibility, or maximum quality. Supported outputs include JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, TIFF, BMP, and ICO.

  • WebP for smaller web images with transparency support
  • PNG for logos, UI, and crisp lossless transparency
  • JPEG for photo compatibility across older tools (no transparency)
  • Convert iPhone HEIC photos into JPG, PNG, or WebP for universal viewing

Quality settings

For lossy formats (JPEG, WebP, AVIF), choose from 4 quick presets or adjust the slider to balance visual clarity and file size.

  • Quick presets: Best quality (90%), Balanced (80%), Smaller file (60%), Max compression (40%)
  • Higher quality for photography, banners, and print assets
  • Lower quality when file size matters more than subtle visual differences
  • Download individual files or grab the entire batch as a ZIP archive

Common mistakes

The most common issue is converting without thinking about transparency, expecting HEIC export, or re-converting already compressed files.

  • Do not convert transparent PNGs to JPEG (transparent areas turn white)
  • HEIC is an input format only; convert HEIC files to JPG, PNG, or WebP for sharing
  • Avoid repeated lossy conversions to preserve image fidelity
